GUNUWARRA: DEEP WINTER ROOFTOP GATHERING
FRIDAY JULY 10TH
Join us on the Spiegel Haus rooftop this NAIDOC week for Gunuwarra: Deep Winter Rooftop Gathering — a free-entry evening of First Nations music, culture, community and connection in the heart of Melbourne.
Headlined by acclaimed DJ and artist SOJU GANG, with supporting sets from FOSTERS, DJ KITI, TREY, FAF and PVRTAL, Gunuwarra brings together DJs, hosts, artists and community voices for a deep winter celebration of sound, culture and solidarity.
Hosted by 2JOOCEEE, Jay Wymarra, Chris Saunders and special guests, the event invites audiences to gather, listen, dance, donate and support during NAIDOC Week.
Entry is free via RSVP, with donations welcomed on the night. All proceeds will support VACCA, helping fund their work with Aboriginal children, young people, families and communities across Victoria.
Supported by the City of Melbourne, the evening will also feature merchandise from Clothing The Gaps and a custom event menu by CDMX Tacos, created especially for the gathering.
Named after Gunuwarra, the Swan and companion of Bunjil, this rooftop gathering is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music, art, storytelling and community connection, set against the concrete backdrop of a Naarm winter.
Free RSVP essential. Donations welcomed.
